Frankie Muniz and Paige Price Reunite at Son’s Game After ‘Rock Bottom’
A day after the 'Malcolm in the Middle' star said six weeks had felt like a nightmare, he and his estranged wife posted a joint family day from their son's soccer game.

Low point, in his own words. Frankie Muniz opened up on X on Friday, Sept. 18, about what he called a six-week stretch at “rock bottom.”
“The last 6 weeks of my life have been a nightmare I’m praying to wake up from,” the Malcolm in the Middle star, 40, wrote. “Everything felt heavy, unclear, and like it was falling apart at the same time.”
Why did Frankie Muniz post about rock bottom?
He didn’t give a reason. The post doesn’t name an event, a person or a cause, and Muniz hasn’t added details since.
What he did describe was the aftermath. “I’ve had nowhere to hide,” he wrote. “I’ve had time to sit with myself, do real self-reflection.”
That time, he said, showed him “the areas of my life that need work if I want to become a better version of me. Not the polished version I show the world… the actual one.”

Most of it looks forward. Muniz wrote that he has been turning over the idea that the bottom can be a starting line.

What did Paige Price post?
About two hours after his post, Paige Price put a line on her Instagram Story: “Life is all about perspective. If you ask the grass, the zebra is the monster and the lion is the protector.”
It ran over a video of her making a wax seal, set to an acoustic cover of the Goo Goo Dolls’ “Iris” — the verse about not wanting the world to see you.
Price did not mention Muniz, and neither of them has said the two posts have anything to do with each other. She has not commented since.
Are Frankie Muniz and Paige Price back together?
Nothing they have posted says so. What they showed on Saturday, Sept. 19, one day after his post, was a family day: a joint Instagram post with two car selfies, Price in the passenger seat and their son, Mauz, 5, in the back.
“Post soccer shenanigans with the fam,” the caption read. “Our little dude got a medal for excellence in sportsmanship!”
It was a collaborative post, published on both of their accounts at once. Their July announcement had described what came next as “a deep friendship” and co-parenting.
Are Frankie Muniz and Paige Price divorced?
They announced their split on July 1. “After 10 beautiful years together, we’ve grown in ways that made us realize our relationship feels most natural and strong as a deep friendship and as co-parents,” Muniz and Paige Price wrote in a joint Instagram post.
The announcement had a false start. Muniz first posted a video of the two dancing, captioned “Who says you can’t stay best friends with your baby momma?”, then deleted it after a wave of criticism.
Price took his side in the comments. “Frankie, I am so sorry that you felt the need to delete an old fun video of our family because people are so cruel to you,” she wrote. “We’re two adults who know how to be on the same team.”
Neither has said publicly whether a divorce has been filed. The six weeks Muniz describes began in early August, about a month after the announcement.
Who is Paige Price?
Muniz’s estranged wife and the mother of his son. The two met in 2016 at a celebrity golf tournament, and he proposed in November 2018 at the Lantern Fest in Casa Grande, Ariz.
They eloped on Oct. 3, 2019, after hiking Camelback Mountain in Arizona, and threw a wedding celebration on Feb. 21, 2020 — four years to the day after they met. Their son, Mauz, was born in March 2021.
Price has kept a lower public profile than her husband. She appears with him in videos on his YouTube channel, including one titled “We Lost Our House But Gained Our Lives.”
What has Frankie Muniz been doing in 2026?
Two jobs at once. In April, he returned as Malcolm in Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair, the Hulu revival that reunited him with Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek nearly two decades after the original ended.
He is also racing full-time. Muniz drives the No. 33 Ford for Team Reaume in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, and he added a full season in the SRO GT4 America championship this year.
His first full Truck Series season, in 2025, ended 26th in the standings after a wrist injury kept him out of four races.
