Who publishes FameCrumbs, who answers for what appears here, how stories are produced, and where to ask for a correction, a reply or a removal.

Publisher and editor

FameCrumbs is published by Bruno Monteiro, founder and editor, who holds editorial and legal responsibility for everything published on the site. Stories are signed under that same real name — FameCrumbs does not use pen names.

How stories are produced

FameCrumbs follows what is trending in the US through the day — search trends, the posts and statements of the people involved, official announcements and published reporting — and writes from there, crediting sources. Software tools, including AI, are part of research, drafting and image handling; every story is reviewed, edited and approved before it is published. Sensitive stories — death, illness, crime, lawsuits and anything involving minors — get additional checks. The rules are in our editorial standards.

Independence

FameCrumbs does not sell coverage. No story is published, changed or removed in exchange for payment. If sponsored content ever appears on the site, it will be clearly labeled as sponsored.

Corrections, replies and removals

Got a fact wrong? We fix it, dated and in plain view. How to ask is in the corrections policy. Right-of-reply requests, legal notices and copyright notices go through the contact page and reach the editor named above.
