Corrections policy

If we got something wrong, tell us and we will fix it. Send the correction through the contact page with the story’s link and what is inaccurate.

How we correct

• We fix errors on the original page — same URL — rather than quietly deleting the story.
• When a correction changes the substance of a story, we add a dated update note so the change is visible.
• If the person or their representative responds, their response is added to the existing story.

Corrections are handled by Bruno Monteiro, who is responsible for FameCrumbs’ content. Fixing what we know to be wrong, in the open, is part of the standard we hold ourselves to — see our editorial standards.
