Christie Brinkley is the subject of a new FOX Nation docuseries, Uptown Girl: The Christie Brinkley Story, coming in 2027. It is a three-part, first-person portrait, and it uses her own home videos, journals and photos.

What is “Uptown Girl: The Christie Brinkley Story”?
FOX Nation announced on Oct. 1 that it had signed the supermodel for a docuseries of three one-hour episodes. It is produced by Lionsgate Alternative Television and directed by Larissa Bills. FOX Entertainment Global will handle worldwide distribution.
FOX Nation president Lauren Petterson called Brinkley “an American icon whose career and life have captivated audiences across generations” and said the streamer has “unprecedented access to her personal archive.”
What will the docuseries cover?
According to the announcement, it starts with her early ambitions as an artist and follows her modeling career, her marriage to singer Billy Joel, motherhood and the 1994 helicopter crash that “nearly took her life.”
The material is hers. The series draws on the home movies, photographs, journals, artwork and personal recordings she has collected over a lifetime.
As long as I can remember, I’ve been chronicling my life from my action-packed illustrated journals to videoing everything, and I’ve saved it all.

Why is it called “Uptown Girl”?
The title comes from the 1983 Billy Joel hit. Brinkley starred in its music video, and she and Joel married in 1985 and divorced in 1994.
It is also the title of her memoir, Uptown Girl, written with Sarah Toland and published in April 2025. The book’s description covers the same stretch of her life: a modeling career, four marriages, media scrutiny and the helicopter crash.

When can you watch it, and what does it cost?
The only timing given is 2027. The announcement does not name a premiere date or an episode schedule.
It will stream on FOX Nation, which is available in the US and its territories on the web and on apps for phones and TV devices. The announcement does not give a price.
The announcement also says Brinkley will attend a market in Cannes, where she will be honored with a handprint ceremony on Oct. 12 on the Chemin des Étoiles, at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès.
