The Red Bull Advent Calendar is back for 2026, and this year’s reason to hunt one down is a flavor you can’t buy anywhere else. Red Bull said on Monday, Sept. 28, that the new box brings back Arctic Berry, its 2020 Winter Edition, as a Festive Edition sold only inside the calendar.
The calendar is on sale now at select retailers nationwide, in limited quantities. Here’s what’s in the box, where to look for it, what it should cost and how the game on the package works.
What’s in the Red Bull Advent Calendar 2026?
Twenty-four 8.4-fl-oz cans, in a box covered with holiday cartoons in Red Bull’s drawing style. Red Bull says the 2026 calendar is new and different from last year’s, with popular flavors both with and without sugar.
The brand has named two of the flavors inside. One is the Arctic Berry Festive Edition, a raspberry flavor that first came out as the 2020 Red Bull Winter Edition. The other is the Red Bull Apple Edition, a Fuji apple and ginger flavor.

The Apple Edition started out as a seasonal Winter Edition too. On Aug. 31, Red Bull made it a permanent flavor, sold on its own in 8.4- and 12-fl-oz cans. Arctic Berry stays exclusive to the calendar this season.
Every can has the same key ingredients as the original Red Bull Energy Drink, in a different taste, according to the brand. The sugar-free ones use sweeteners instead. Each 8.4-fl-oz can has 80 milligrams of caffeine, which Red Bull compares to a cup of home-brewed coffee.
Where can you buy the Red Bull Advent Calendar?
Red Bull lists 14 retailers selling it for a limited time: 7-Eleven, Albertsons, Amazon, Circle K, Costco, CVS, H-E-B, Lowe’s, Meijer, QuikTrip, Sam’s Club, Target, Walgreens and Walmart. Stock depends on each store, and the brand says the boxes are available only while supplies last.
Red Bull didn’t announce a price. The one number it has put on paper is in the official rules of the calendar’s game, which value each 2026 Advent Pack at about $55. Store prices may differ from that figure.
How does the Red Bull Advent Calendar game work?
The QR code on the box leads to “Sort the Gifts,” a mini-game on RedBull.com in which you match presents against the clock and climb a leaderboard. According to the official rules, it’s a skill contest, and no purchase is necessary: anyone can play from the contest’s web page.
To register a score, you need a free Red Bull account, and you have to be a legal U.S. resident aged 21 or older. The contest opened at 9 a.m. Pacific on Sept. 28 and closes at 5 p.m. Pacific on Jan. 4, 2027. Only your best score counts.
What are the prizes?
There are two rounds. The 10 highest scores on the leaderboard at 5 p.m. Pacific on Nov. 9 each win a 2026 Advent Pack.
At the end of the contest, the top score wins a trip for two to Red Bull Cliff Diving in St. Petersburg, Florida, in 2027, with a VIP experience, economy airfare and hotel, valued at $4,900.

The series is new to Florida. In 2026, the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series made St. Pete Pier its only U.S. stop and its first-ever event in the state, on June 5 and 6, with 24 divers jumping from platforms up to 90 feet high. Red Bull’s full highlight of that stop is below.
