Olivia Rodrigo’s Unraveled Tour: Full Setlist, Tour Dates and Tickets

Olivia Rodrigo, 23, kicked off The Unraveled Tour on Friday night (Sept. 25) at PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford, Connecticut, with a two-hour show built around the four seasons, a stage covered in flowers and a dress that melted off her in the rain.

Outside, a nor’easter was blowing through. Inside, she played almost all of her third album, which came out June 12 and opened at No. 1 on the U.S. albums chart.

The only song from the new album she skipped was “what’s wrong with me,” her duet with Robert Smith of The Cure. A snippet of “deja vu” also played as an interlude at the end of the first act, and “serena joy” isn’t on the album.

What happened at the Unraveled Tour opening night?

The seasons were the staging. Pink and white faux flowers covered the stage and its platforms, and fake snow fell on Rodrigo as she sat at the piano in the winter act.

The moment that went viral came during “the cure.” On a second, smaller stage, artificial rain poured down, and her baby blue dress dissolved to reveal a red one underneath.

She also led the arena in “Happy Birthday” for her mother, who was in the crowd, and before “begged” she told the story of writing it at 4 a.m. while overseas with a friend. The English band Wolf Alice opened with a 40-minute set.

The show was the first real look at the tour she teased when she announced it in April. “I’ve been working so hard on it,” she told Jimmy Fallon then. “I’m just, like, so stoked to play these songs live.”
