Taylor Swift, 36, was in her suite at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday night, and she made sure the cameras caught the ring.

When Travis Kelce, also 36, scored on a 13-yard pass from Patrick Mahomes in the first quarter against the Indianapolis Colts, Swift jumped out of her seat and pointed at her wedding band. In clips shared by NBC’s broadcast accounts, she appears to shout, “That’s my husband.”

It was Kelce’s first touchdown of the 2026 season, and the second home game in a row she has been at. Swift and Kelce married on July 3 at Madison Square Garden, in front of his Chiefs teammates.

Week 1, Monday, Sept. 14 — Broncos at Chiefs, W 31-10. At Arrowhead, in a red checkered dress, in a suite with her father, Scott Swift, her mother, Andrea, and Kelce’s mother, Donna. It was her first game as his wife. Tom Cruise was in the same suite.

Week 2, Sunday, Sept. 20 — Colts at Chiefs, on NBC. At Arrowhead with her parents. The ring moment came in the first quarter.

Week 3, Sunday, Sept. 27 — Chiefs at Dolphins, 1 p.m. ET, CBS. The first road game of the season. Swift does not announce her plans; the answer comes when the broadcast cuts to the suite.

That cutaway is the only reliable signal. Swift does not post before games, and the Chiefs do not confirm guests. At Arrowhead she watches from a private suite, which is why the first sighting usually comes from the TV feed, not from fans in the stands.

Monday’s game had its own milestone. A 59-yard catch moved Kelce past Jason Witten into second place for career receiving yards by a tight end. He is in his 14th season and trails Tony Gonzalez, another Chief, by 2,054 yards.

That she knows more than he does. Tom Cruise, who shared the suite with her on Monday, said so on The Tonight Show three days later.

He told Jimmy Fallon he had not been to an NFL game since before the pandemic, and that Swift had described how patient Kelce was when she was first learning the game. “She knows her stuff,” he said.

Cruise told the same story, with more detail, on New Heights, the podcast Kelce hosts with his brother Jason. Around the 30-minute mark, he and Travis trade stories about Swift reading penalty flags from the suite, down to defensive holding and encroachment.

Cruise was on the show to promote Digger, his film with director Alejandro González Iñárritu, which opens in theaters on Oct. 2. He was also a guest at the July wedding.

Off the field, the couple were turned down on a fence request for their Ohio home, and prosecutors named Kelce among the victims of a $35 million Ponzi scheme.
