Who are the Traitors, and how does the game work?
Spoiler for episode 1, which aired Thursday: Maya Jama and Richard E. Grant were named the first two Traitors.
The format is the one from the American and regular British versions. A few players are secretly Traitors, and each night they “murder” a Faithful, who leaves the game.
By day, the whole group meets at the Round Table to banish one player. The Faithfuls are trying to find every Traitor before the Traitors thin them out.

When does The Celebrity Traitors air, and can you watch it in the US?
The series airs on BBC One and the BBC iPlayer on Thursdays and Fridays at 8 p.m. in the UK, which is 3 p.m. ET and noon PT. The opening episode was extra long. The last two episodes, 9 and 10, air Oct. 29 and 30.
It is not on a US service yet. The BBC iPlayer is a UK service that requires a UK TV Licence. No US date has been announced.
The first celebrity series reportedly reached Peacock about two weeks after its UK finale, and Peacock is the expected US home again. In the meantime, here is the cast of the American version’s season 6.
