Who was Von Scales?
Scales was a St. Louis businessman who appeared alongside Trina on the Braxton family’s reality series on WE tv, including Braxton Family Values and The Braxtons.

They met through a mutual friend after Trina’s 2015 split from Gabe Solis, according to coverage of their wedding. Solis, who had raised Trina’s two sons as his own, died in December 2018.
