e.l.f. is moving into fragrance. The beauty brand launched e.l.f. POP, a fragrance and body care line, on Monday (Oct. 5), starting with a limited-edition holiday collection called Tromsø and a single scent, Spicy Bundt Nice.
The collection has three pieces, from $12 to $13. Here’s what each one is, what the scent smells like, and when it reaches Amazon.
What is e.l.f. POP?
It’s the line e.l.f. Brands is using to move into fragrance and body care, according to the launch announcement. The name comes from Jelly Pop, a limited-edition mini collection that e.l.f. says was one of its first scents fans loved. Earlier this year, the brand also did a limited fragrance collab with H&M.
Each POP collection is named for a place. Tromsø, a city in Arctic Norway, is the first. In January 2027, e.l.f. plans a full lineup with more destination scents.
Each intentionally selected destination in the e.l.f. POP collection is designed to transport you somewhere you want to be.
Oshiya Savur, chief marketing officer of e.l.f. Brands, in the launch announcement
Tromsø sits more than 200 miles north of the Arctic Circle. From late November to mid-January the sun doesn’t rise there, and the dark sky is when the Northern Lights show. The packaging art is by Norwegian illustrator Esra Røise, and Norwegian pop artist SKAAR made the music for the campaign.

What does Spicy Bundt Nice smell like?
Cake, mostly. A bundt is the ring-shaped cake baked in a fluted pan, and the name is a pun on “spicy but nice.” e.l.f. calls it a spicy gourmand, the fragrance family built on notes you could eat, like vanilla, caramel and baked goods.
On its product page, e.l.f. lists the notes in three layers:
- Top: spiced cake, juicy orange, mulled spices
- Middle: butter cream, cinnamon, cardamom
- Base: vanilla, amber, woody notes
The layers describe time on the skin. Top notes are what you smell in the first minutes, and they fade fastest. The base is what’s left hours later. The launch announcement also names cedarwood and warm musk at the base.
Mist, body cream or kit: which one should you buy?
The fragrance mist, $13
The mist comes in a 5.1 fl oz (150 mL) bottle and sprays clear. e.l.f. pitches it as a lighter format than perfume, meant to be sprayed generously and reapplied during the day, on pulse points or wherever you want the scent stronger.
That’s the trade-off with any body mist: it carries less fragrance than a perfume, so it reads softer and fades sooner. e.l.f. says this one is “noticeable but not overpowering.” It’s for the body only; the brand says not to spray it on hair.
The silky body cream, $13
The cream comes in an 8.8 oz (250 g) jar with the same scent. e.l.f. says it absorbs quickly and helps hydrate and soften skin. It’s the piece that makes the mist last.

Scent fades faster from dry skin. A layer of lotion underneath gives the fragrance something to cling to, which is why e.l.f. says to apply the cream first on clean skin and spray the mist on top. Used together, the brand says, the scent comes out stronger and longer-lasting.
The Taste of Tromsø travel kit, $12
The kit puts a mini mist and a mini body cream in one box, $1 less than either full size. e.l.f. says both minis are sized for carry-on travel, and its Amazon listings pitch the collection as a holiday gift or stocking stuffer.

When is e.l.f. POP on Amazon?
Tuesday, Oct. 6. The collection went live on TikTok Shop US on Oct. 4 and on elfcosmetics.com on Monday, Oct. 5. Amazon lists all three products for Oct. 6, sold and shipped by Amazon, and the listings are taking pre-orders now.
Amazon in the U.K., Germany and Canada gets the collection the same day, according to e.l.f. All three pieces are limited edition, made for the holiday season.
